It's Friday, and I got a day off work! Not that it gives me much free time; it was for a doctor's appointment and car maintenance. I realize that I forgot to post my Friday update here last week, so you can find that here. But let's talk about Mythos, first!

This week was completely devoted to finishing the sex scene and all the animations that went along with it. Eagle-eyed followers may have noticed that, until this week, there were 4 animations -- but now there are six. I decided to add a third animation to each version of the scene, so there's three animations for the male and three animations for the female. There's still only one sex scene, but now it comes out to have the same number of animations of the two Chapter One scenes combined. I wanted to try to appease the naughty folks since they may be sad about having only one scene.

But sex isn't the focus of Mythos, and that brings us to my post from yesterday: Ask the Cast!  The responses have been better than anticipated, but I'm going to keep collecting questions until at least Tuesday. My goal was to hold the character's responses until I got enough questions, and I think I have a good amount right now (especially with a few questions addressing the whole cast, or just the main cast). I'm compiling the list of all the questions I have on my Discord server, if you want to see what's already been asked. 

I've finally got everything all set to start writing and coding The "Big Scene" (aka "Teri's Eleven"). This scene will play out differently based on your choices; but it'll be based on choices you've made up until that point. People will see different combinations of characters interacting in different ways based on how they've done things so far. I plan on there being four "paths" the scene can take, with a few references and jokes that can pop up based on other criteria from earlier in the game. I mention this because if you're the sort to only do one playthrough, the scene may not appear to be very dynamic since the choices that influence it are scattered throughout the game, rather in the scene itself. Sure, there are choices to be made within the scene, but the bulk of how it plays out is determined by other things leading up to it.

Did any of that make sense? Probably not. Anyway!

Personal life time; skip to the checklist if you want to see the progress and don't really care about what's going on in the real world! I just got a new doctor, as my last one left the practice, so that's what my appointment today was all about -- nothing to worry about! Though, since I don't have any working scales in my house, I got to learn just how much COVID weight I've put on. Definitely going to be hitting up the gym a little harder. I'm taking in Morgana's car for maintenance, as she hit a pot hole which apparently messed up her alignment so bad her car popped up a light that basically said "fix plz." Hopefully that won't cost me another arm and a leg (she's been having a lot of car issues, hasn't she?). Finally, this weekend is Pokemon Go Fest, so we're actually going to be out and about doing stuff with that -- I still plan to get a good bit of Mythos work done this weekend, don't worry.
